My experience in school counseling span grades K-12. My educational background is a Masters of Education in School Counseling and Masters of Social Work from GVSU. It will be a pleasure to meet you and get to know your student. Here's to a wonderful school year at Hopkins.
What Do the Counselors Do?
School Counselors help people help themselves put the puzzles of school, life, and future together. We focus specifically on academic, career, and social issues. We do this by talking with individual students, working with students in small groups, and teaching lessons to whole classes/grade levels. We collaborate with teachers, other school staff, and families to help support students' academic achievement and future life plans.
